Start to padel

I have never played padel, nor have I played many, if any, racket sports. I do not know the rules and would like to discover the sport.

Start to padel - P50

I started playing padel a few months ago. I know the rules, but I have never, or only rarely, played racket sports before. I need to develop my technique and better understand tactics.

P50

I play several times a month. I am starting to successfully use lobs during play and to play with the glass walls. During matches, we are able to build rallies, but there are still quite a few mistakes.

P100

I play every week and have already entered a P100 tournament. Under pressure, I manage to play about one good lob out of two, but I often make mistakes when the pace of the game increases.

P200

I play every week and take part in P200 tournaments. I move up to the net after my lobs. I can play forehand and backhand volleys. I let the ball pass and wait for the rebound off the glass. I manage to control the depth and height of my lob well two times out of three.

P300 - P400

I play every week and have a ranking between P300 and P400. I finish points with smashes. I vary the zones and speed of my volleys. I vary my returns between balls played at the opponents’ feet and lobs. I read trajectories and recover balls from the double glass.

P500 - P700

I play every week and enter P500 and P700 tournaments. I master different types of smashes, such as the vibora and bandeja, and I am able to finish points by making the ball go out of the court. I can defend by moving around the ball. My glass-wall returns are played either at the opponents’ feet or as lobs.

P1000

I play every week and enter P1000 tournaments.
